José L. Piedra Cazadores is a particularly remarkable Habano not only because its blend is made from tobaccos grown exclusively in Cuba, but also because it is manufactured using the Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Corta technique, or "entirely hand-made, short-fill".

On the palate, flavors are essentially woody and vegetal. A touch of pepper completes the aromatic palette. A medium-strength cigar.

The Piedra family arrived in Cuba from the Spanish province of Asturias in the 1880's. They settled near the town of Santa Clara, which lies in the heart of the Remedios region, where tobacco has been grown since the 16th century, and began making cigars.
The second generation of the family, led by José Lamadrid Piedra, whose name is commemorated today, founded and developed the brand.

The José L. Piedra Cazadores is a Corona cigar measuring 152 mm long and 17.07 mm in diameter (43-ring gauge). You'll need around 45 minutes to enjoy it properly.
